Book 2 Word Count: 85,335 / 90,000 (94.82%) Approximate Timing Target: JUN 90k
It is so close that I can taste it! I bounced the target back to 90k but it may end up being more. I was able to get a good chunk of writing done last week when I was enjoying a beautiful lake view in Petoskey, MI. During that time, I realized I needed a few thousand more words to wrap it up and add color.
I expect to finish Broken Blade in the next two weeks. A lot of the editing has happened already. Eric has been reviewing incremental sections and making the necessary edits. It is really coming together!
On the to-do list: proofreading, interior formatting, book 1 summary (maybe just a character list with important things to know for book 2), cover design, book 2 blurb/synopsis for the back cover. I think I can get all this done in July and submit to BookBaby in August. That’s the plan.
I haven’t been posting much lately because things have been crazy and I didn’t have a ton of updates. Stay tuned, though. I’ll post the Prologue and Blurb in July.
